Fibre optic workshop in Vienna inspires participants

Our first workshop on fibre optic technology took place in Vienna on 3 October 2024 - and we are delighted with the consistently positive feedback from the participants! The workshop provided in-depth theoretical knowledge of the basic principles of fibre optic technology with content such as cable and fibre types, measurement technology products and fibre properties. The participants also gained practical experience that helped them to deepen their knowledge in the installation and maintenance of fibre optic cables.
The participants, most of whom were electricians, wholesalers and service companies, were enthusiastic about the content and atmosphere of the workshop. In addition to the technical training, the dialogue during the breaks was a particular highlight. There were lively discussions about the market and current developments in the industry while everyone enjoyed the excellently prepared Kaiserschmarren.
A big thank you to Mathias Fischer and Dietmar Krafka, who not only planned the workshop but also ensured that everything ran smoothly on site. Thanks to its success, we are already planning to offer the LWL workshop in Vienna once a year in future.
