EFB-Elektronik donates 250 trees for the tree planting campaign of the Klimainitiative Bielefeld

Sustainability and environmental awareness are a central focus for EFB-Elektronik, which is why the company participated in the annual tree planting campaign as part of ClimateWeek Bielefeld and donated 250 trees. The goal of the campaign: to reforest the forest step by step.
Together with colleagues, family members, friends and many other volunteers from the region, the EFB team planted the seedlings in the Köckerwald forest in Bielefeld Babenhausen last Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the ClimateWeek Bielefeld event. Not only for the employees the action was a great contribution to support the local reforestation, also the little ones had fun to support digging holes and planting trees.
Robin Ohle, managing director of EFB-Elektronik, had of course already marked the date in his calendar as a matter close to his heart for a long time. Within the company, the team around Michael Voß, the Sustainability & Material Compliance Officer, had organized the event and mobilized the EFB team.
The campaign was professionally managed by an experienced forester to ensure that the trees were planted in the best possible way.
Forests are an important source of life - they give us peace, oxygen and strength. Unfortunately, forests have been severely weakened in recent years. The tree population is declining. The forests in Bielefeld are also affected by this.
EFB-Elektronik is thus reaffirming its commitment to environmental protection and sustainability and demonstrating how companies can make a positive contribution to society by actively participating in ecological initiatives.
