Powerful system solution with optimally matched individual products

Bielefeld, September 2021 – EFB Elektronik GmbH, manufacturer and system provider for network technology, is now launching an unshielded product series with the INFRALAN® UTP Cat. 6A cabling system, which combines the advantages of UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) copper cabling with the high quality of the premium INFRALAN® brand. Its product portfolio offers selected high-performance components for structured fiber optic and copper cabling as well as cabinet systems from a single source. The individual high-performance and future-proof components of the complete systems are optimally matched to each other. The 25-year system warranty from INFRALAN® also offers comprehensive investment protection.

The individual components of the INFRALAN® UTP Cat. 6A cabling system include a very thin laying cable (6.6mm, AWG23/1, B2ca). Due to the small outer diameter of only 6.6 millimeters, the cable is also suitable for feed-throughs in narrow cable conduits, thus enabling customers to save a great deal of space. It also complies with fire protection class B2ca and the associated requirements for reduced fire propagation, for example. "Due to the high fire protection rating, our installation cable is also recommended in particular for buildings with increased safety requirements in accordance with the EU Construction Products Regulation, including hospitals and public buildings, among others," says Norbert Möller, INFRALAN® project manager. The system is completed by an A-NEXT optimized patch panel, a slim patch cable and a Keystone with ETL certification.
